Safety regulations for travel on the GengenBahn:

The GengenBahn reserves the right to change or cancel the route and certain departures if safety, weather conditions, road works or traffic conditions so require. In the event of a ride cancellation, any payments made will be refunded.

Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a responsible person.

Passengers must remain seated during the ride. It is forbidden to stick your head, legs and arms out of the carriages during the journey. It is strictly forbidden to get on or off the train before it has come to a complete stop or to stand between the carriages while the train is stationary. Opening the boarding doors during the journey will result in forced braking and immediate exclusion from the journey.

The GengenBahn accepts no responsibility in the event of non-compliance with these regulations. No liability is accepted for items left or forgotten in the carriages.

Booking and cancellation information

Please note that online tickets are generally non-refundable. The EU-wide 14-day right of withdrawal according to §355BGB does not apply and is excluded for the purchase of online tickets. Online tickets can be booked up to 30 minutes before the respective tour. Tickets can be purchased at short notice directly from the driver at the departure point. Please note that cash payment is not possible.

Photo and video recordings

We occasionally take photos and videos during our journeys for use for advertising purposes (e.g. website, social media, flyers). By purchasing a ticket, passengers agree that such recordings may be made and published in which they may be seen. If you do not agree to publication, please let us know in advance. We will then try to avoid such recordings or make people unrecognisable

Data Protection Law

Your e-mail address may be stored by GengenBahn for information purposes only. You have the option to unsubscribe at any time. No personal information will be collected without your knowledge and no personal data will be passed on to third parties. We would like to point out that you have the right to access, modify, correct and delete data concerning you.
